We haven't made a voting recommendation in 34 years.
For this election, we made an exception.
By unanimous consensus, the Editorial Board deemed the now-president elect, "unfit
for the presidency" in a strongly worded September editorial. The board
skewered the billionaire for his temperament and business dealings while
calling him a "serial liar" who "traffics in hate" among
other proclamations. The dis-endorsement, which wasn't an endorsement of
Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, broke a 34-year newspaper tradition
of not taking sides in presidential races.
